Florida Mutineers Reveal 2023 CDL Starting Roster

The Florida Mutineers are back with a new look roster for the 2023 CDL season.

The Florida Mutineers have always been a dark horse team since the beginning of the Call of Duty League back in 2020. While they’ve never reached the top, winning just one chip in the first season, they’ve always been a team that could beat anyone. This has led to them upsetting some significant teams in the past and never being underestimated by the rest of the league.

This year, the Mutineers take a new approach to their starting lineup, bringing in two rookies to team with two veterans, which could make for an exciting dynamic.

Florida Mutineers 2023 Roster

The Florida Mutineers will head into the 2023 Call of Duty League season with a starting roster of Mike “MajorManiak” Syzmaniak, Colt “Havok” McLendon, Carson “Brack” Newberry and Javi “Vikul” Milagro. The Mutineers missed out on the 2022 CDL Championship Weekend and have therefore completely reinvented their roster for the 2023 season. The only returning player from last season is MajorManiak, who they brought in from Minnesota ROKKR mid-season. The veteran leadership that he brings will be much needed, with two CDL rookies joining for 2023.

Two Rookies – Vikul & Brack

Vikul and Brack will join the Mutineers following outstanding seasons in Challengers. Both players faced off against each other in the Challengers Championships Grand Final, with Brack coming out on top over the two series and taking the crown. Both players were on exceptional teams last year but managed to stand out themselves and have earned their spot in the Call of Duty League.

Brack was part of the inaugural Call of Duty League season with Toronto Ultra; however, he unfortunately never got to step foot on the stage and has since been playing at the top of his game in Challengers. As for Vikul, he took a big risk, moving from Spain to the US to compete, but as he stayed consistent during the season, it definitely paid off.

The Florida Mutineers will look to improve on their 2022 Vanguard season and hope to make Champs here in 2023 on Modern Warfare 2. With a history of sticking by players, we expect that even if the rookies get off to a slow start this year, the Mutineers will have faith and stick by them throughout the season.
