Warzone moves from Verdansk to Caldera, here’s everything you need to know.
Following the release of Call of Duty: Vanguard, Warzone will change forever. From Verdansk to the Pacific, Warzone will be moving players to a new map called Caldera. Caldera features over 200 points of interest and will see Warzone renamed to Warzone Pacific.
Warzone Pacific
The new Warzone Pacific map will be built on the same technology as COD: Vanguard, allowing for seamless integration between the two titles. Roughly the size of Verdansk, Caldera will offer the same fast-paced gameplay with new vehicles such as planes, and new weapons such as AA guns to take down dogfights.
The set release date for Warzone Pacific is December 2. However, Vanguard players will receive 24 hours early access to the new Caldera map, allowing the Vanguard community to get a head start over the casual Warzone players. All weapons from Modern Warfare and Black Ops Cold War will remain in Warzone, allowing for 150+ usable weapons. Along with this, MW and BOCW vehicle skins will be usable in Battle Royale and Rebirth Island playlists.
