Top 5 EA FC 24 Ultimate Team Predictions 2024
From a controversial TOTY pick to gameplay mode overhauls, check out the top 5 things we believe could happen in Ultimate Team in 2024. Before we get to them, however, we want to remind you that these are pure speculation and not based on insider information. Without further ado, FUT fans, let’s tell you what we believe EA has in store for you in 2024.
1. TOTS Red Picks Will Be Back
Even though EA Sports has walked away from the FIFA title, it has continued most of the FUT campaigns seen in previous game versions. TOTS Red Picks promo could be one such promo EA decides to resurrect, which provides amazing Team of the Season prizes via the FUT Champions Finals campaign. After the Champions Finals wrap up, each participant is guaranteed a minimum of one untradeable player pick as a reward. The number of picks might vary depending on their ranking, and the available pool may also expand correspondingly.
2. Moments Will Get Overhauled

“Moments” is a recent addition to FUT, which was first introduced in FIFA 23. This single-player mode hasn't seen much fanfare since its introduction, so EA Sports might consider revamping it in the coming months. The developers could introduce Moment-based challenges into objectives and FUT Champions to diversify the experience. Additionally, players might receive temporary stat boosts or unlockable rewards for accomplishing memorable in-game moments. We might also see a more eclectic mix of challenges like famous tackles, assists, etc.
3. Recently Retired Players As Heroes and Icons

EA Sports typically takes a while before bringing back recently retired players into the game. They may break away from this pattern, however, by reintroducing players such as Mesut Ozil and Zlatan Ibrahimovic through Icon or Hero cards. These cards could make an appearance shortly after the EURO 2024 campaign, aiming to sustain interest in the lead-up to the launch of the series' next installment, EA FC 25. Don’t expect seeing players like Luis Suarez or Marcelo in the game though, as they currently play in the Brazilian Serie A, a league that is not licensed by EA.
4. Icons Evolutions Will Arrive

Evolutions is undeniably a welcome inclusion to the Ultimate Team experience. It offered players a great way to upgrade items instead of heavily relying on SBCs and objectives. While Evolutions have been primarily popular for lower-rated cards, many players have effectively utilized them to elevate many high-rated cards even further. Icons cards, however, are not eligible for the Evolution feature. EA might reconsider this decision, nonetheless, and introduce Icons Evolutions to make these cards even more special.
5. Lionel Messi to Become the First Non-Top 5 TOTY Player

As we have already speculated in our EA FC 24 TOTY predictions article, Lionel Messi might make history by becoming the first player outside the big five European leagues to make a Team of the Year appearance. The Argentina national team captain hasn't been on electrifying form since moving across the Atlantic, but his eighth Ballon d’Or win, however, might propel him into the creme de la creme of the year. This is especially likely because the final XI will be determined based on fan votes.
There you have it, FUT fanatics! Five outrageous EA FC 24 Ultimate Team predictions that may or may not come true over the next 12 months.Maybe EA will surprise us with even more remarkable developments or, on the contrary, leave us disappointed with lackluster offerings.
