The beloved perk returns in COD Vanguard.

The Call of Duty: Vanguard beta was well received by many fans, however, one major complaint was the omission of the popular perk Dead Silence. Dead Silence has been featured in many Call of Duty titles, and it allows a player to move around the map silently. This adds another layer of tactical play to COD and allows for players to be sneaky while taking flank routes to get behind the enemy.

Today, Sledgehammer Games announced that Dead Silence will return as a perk called Ninja. Ninja comes to Vanguard due to the removal of perk, Low Profile, meaning it will sit in the perk 1 slot. The Ninja perk will allow you to have silent footsteps all the time, giving you the ability for sneaky plays.

Ninja will be used by almost every player in Search and Destroy especially, as having silent footsteps is extremely important in those clutch situations.

Call of Duty: Vanguard releases next week on November 5. With 20 maps and multiple new game modes, you won't want to miss out.
