Counterstrike organization North has announced a partnership with IT consultancy Capgemini today in a press release.


Danish Counterstrike organization has announced a partnership today with IT consulting firm Capgemini in an official press release. As a result, The deal includes prime placement of Capgemini’s logo on North jerseys. Additionally, Capgemini will also “spearhead several initiatives and events for employees and partners to promote esports and attract future employees.”

North CEO, Christian Sørensen, has this to say on the partnership:

“We are happy to welcome Capgemini to the North family and thrilled to collaborate with a company that understand[s] us and who is in the forefront of digital innovation. North is an ambitious team that wants to continuously improve and delight their audiences. Surrounding ourselves with the best of talent in two industries that share values and have many synergies between them, is the way to achieve our ambitions”

Capgemini is a massive player in the IT consultancy realm, boasting over 200,000 employees, and the firm posted global revenues of 13.2 billion euros in 2018.

North, for their part, recently made a run at the Star Series i-League Season 7 in China. Thankfully, The team 2-0’d squads like MIBR and FaZe Clan before losing to Fnatic 1-2 in the semi-finals.

Capgemini joins other high-profile North sponsors like GG.Bet, Adidas, and Steelseries by partnering with the team. The company’s sponsorship deal with North is interesting because it doesn’t seem to include and fan-directed content. Instead, it will assist North on the business side of the scene.
