The Subliners' official academy roster continues to grow with Spart being the latest addition
The New York Subliners is one of the few Call of Duty League teams to have an academy roster. It has already shown its benefits, with academy player Conor “Diamondcon” Johst being promoted to the starting roster following Tommy “ZooMaa” Paparatto’s announcement to step back from competing. Today, the Subliners have announced youngster Kris “Spart” Cervantez as the latest addition to the roster.
The 19-year-old began his competitive Call of Duty Career in the 2019 Black Ops 4 Season. While he struggled in CWL matches, he won multiple 1k and 2K online tournaments with teammates such as Simp and Shotzzy. He began his Modern Warfare season as an amateur too, before gaining the interest of the Los Angeles Guerrillas in March.
From here, he joined the Guerrillas from Week 4 to Week 8, before he was replaced by Saints in June. Spart is an aggressive SMG player who will be able to bring a lot to the Subliners' academy roster. He has finished T6 in all of the Challengers Cups so far. He'll certainly be looking to pick up many wins with the new squad.
