COD League Returns To LAN For Stage 4 Major

LAN events are finally back for Call of Duty fans.

It’s been nearly 14 months since the Call of Duty League announced their move to solely online play for the remainder of the 2020 season. Since then, the Dallas Empire was crowned champions, FaZe went on an 11 game unbeaten streak and rookies have seemingly taken the League by storm. Regardless, competitive COD has powered through, and albeit in an online format, the games have been played as scheduled.

However, LAN has been missed, and the community rejoiced at the news of LAN returning at some point this year. Today, the Call of Duty League announced that date is June 17, for the Stage 4 Major.

While the Stage 4 Group Play matches will be online, we’ll see all 12 teams come together at the Esports Stadium in Arlington, Texas for the Major. The whole community is extremely excited to see LAN return, and while there will be no fans in attendance, we’re sure that they’ll put on a good show.
