The Florida Mutineers are the next to host a Black ops Cold War tournament, however, this one is much larger than the rest.
Tomorrow, November 18th, the Florida Mutineers will host their Release the Kraken Invitational Black Ops Cold War tournament. This will be a 32 team, single-elimination tournament with $25K up for grabs.
Format
Release the Kraken: Cold War will feature 32 teams of 4. They will play in a single-elimination bracket in the Call of Duty League format. This means that all CDL rules will be in place, with teams playing best of five matches featuring Hardpoint, Search and Destroy and Control.
Teams
The teams for the Mutineers’ tournament are yet to be released, but we are set to see some of the best Black Ops Cold War players in this tournament. Being an invitational, we will definitely be seeing many of the current Call of Duty League professionals such as Simp and Envoy, while we will also see amateurs such as Censor and Prolute.
Schedule and How to Watch
Release the Kraken begins at 12 PM ET on November 18th. The tournament will last around 5-6 hours with the 32 teams needing to be eliminated until we have just one left. It will be streamed on the Florida Mutineers Twitch Channel, but you can also watch your favorite competitors' POV on their own stream.
