Minnesota ROKKR 3-0 LA Guerrillas
Minnesota ROKKR shocked the Call of Duty League with their 3-0 win over the Los Angeles Guerrillas, sending them home from the first Major of the 2022 Call of Duty League season. Attach was dominant throughout the series, finishing with a 1.36 overall K/D.
Ahead of this match, ROKKR were 0-5 in game wins, however they came out hot and won 250-175 with Attach dropping 30 kills on Gavutu. The Search and Destroy was just as dominant, ending 6-3. With a monster performance from Standy, putting up 10 kills. Finally, the Control went all the way to round five, however, ROKKR clutched up, and took the series in a 3-0 sweep.
LA Thieves 3-0 New York Subliners
The LA Thieves continued their unbeaten Gavutu Hardpoint run in a back and forth 250-230 match. LA Thieves out-slayed the Subliners, but not by much. With Hydra stepping up, going 40/24 but it wasn't enough to bring his NYSL roster a win in map one. Envoy continued to dominate in the Search and Destroy. Putting up 13 kills to see the Thieves win 6-3, and take a 2-0 series lead.
Once LA Thieves went 2-0 up, the result was clear. With their undefeated Gavutu Control record, the Thieves extended this once again, winning 3-1 and taking the series in a 3-0 sweep.
Boston Breach 3-2 Florida Mutineers
The Mutineers came out hot in the first map of this elimination match. With an absolutely dominant performance against Boston Breach on Bocage. The whole Mutineers roster went positive, out-slaying the Breach by a massive 28 kills, and taking the map 250-159. Boston Breach bounced back, winning their first-round 11 of the season against the Mutineers. Capsidal showed his SnD prowess once again, going 10/6 and tying the series 1-1.
The Mutineers dominated map three, with Owakening ending the map positive 12 kills. Owakening did his best to close out the series for the Mutineers, but he needed some help. Unfortunately, he got none. While he put up an insane 2.85 K/D in map four at 37/13, they lost 250-239. This heartbreak got even worse in game five, with Methodz putting up 13 kills to secure the series win.
Owakening finished the series with a 1.61 overall K/D and 119 kills, yet still took a defeat.
Paris Legion 3-2 Seattle Surge
Paris Legion got their first victory at the Major with their new signing, GRVTY. Seattle Surge had suffered a lot in recent matches, however they started this series with a bang. Sib was back to his best, dropping 32 kills and a 1.88 K/D. The series went back and forth, with Paris clutching up 6-5 in map two before Seattle responded with a 3-2 Control. Paris then dominated map four, and took this momentum into game five, taking a 6-3 win.
LA Thieves 3-1 Minnesota ROKKR
This series went exactly as many fans expected. LA Thieves took all the respawns and Minnesota ROKKR dominated the Search and Destroy. The Thieves began with the ARs of Kenny and Octane overpowering and winning 250-162. ROKKR fought back, winning 6-2 in Search and Destroy. However the next two went the way of the Thieves, with Drazah stepping up in map four with a 1.75 K/D.
