CoD: Atlanta FaZe Wins CDL 2021 World Championship

FaZe dominates the season and wins the 2021 World Championship.

The 2021 Call of Duty League season has come to a close following an extraordinary Championship weekend. Atlanta FaZe came out on top after undoubtedly being the best team all year, here’s how they claimed their crown.

Atlanta FaZe – 2021 CDL Champs

Atlanta FaZe arrived in LA for Champs with one aim. To win it all. They began the event with that exact mindset, and a 3-0 sweep over New York only cemented that mentality. Another 3-0 followed, however, this one was over Dallas Empire in Winner's Finals, something no one expected.

The Grand Finals saw them take on their closest rival from 2021, Toronto Ultra. Simp struggled in map one, going 8/26 which resulted in a Map One loss. However, after that, it was all FaZe. A Round 11 clutch in Map Two led to more dominant matches and a 3-1 lead. Toronto found their way back into the series and got us to a 4-3 scoreline. However, FaZe was too strong in Hardpoint and closed it out on Apocalypse to win Champs.

This win sees Arcitys, aBeZy and Simp win their second ring, and Cellium wins his first. This FaZe roster could be considered a dynasty now, given their incredible dominance over recent years.
