The Brits have been reunited, as Alexx returns to the squad.
The London Royal Ravens have looked much improved in recent weeks. After winning four out of their last eight matches, the Ravens have started to climb up the standings. However, they’ve decided to make a change, as Alex “Alexx” Carpenter, Marcus “Afro” Reid and James “Dominate” Batz are reunited with the team in Charlotte.
Alexx’s Return
Alexx, unfortunately, had to leave the London squad back in March due to personal reasons. However, he has returned today and will replace Zaptius following the expiration of his contract. While at home in the UK, Alexx didn’t compete in any Challengers tournaments, which has worried some fans, and his addition to the squad is surprising.
New EU Talent
London’s substitute player, Afro has also joined the squad from today. While he has initially been added to the starting roster, we expect to see him competing soon due to Zed’s recent tweets indicating that he’s been benched too. Afro is an exceptional talent, and given the recent performances of fellow European Hydra, he’ll be hoping to have the same kind of impact.
London Royal Ravens will kick off Stage 4 with this new-look roster, and given the upward trajectory they were on, they’ll need to make an impact.
