The Call of Duty League got back underway following the most recent Pro-Am Classic where the New York Subliners came out on top in a surprising victory. OpTic Texas also performed extremely well with General subbing in for iLLeY, however for Major 3 we see Prolute taking General’s place on OpTic’s starting roster.
Tonight’s Major 3 Qualifiers kicked off the road to Toronto, and Canada’s first Major Call of Duty event. Here’s a recap of every map, and all the results.

LA Thieves 3-0 London Royal Ravens
LAST WEEK, the LA Thieves reached the Grand Final of the CDL Pro-Am, and they kicked off their Major 3 Qualifiers with a map one victory. The Thieves took Gavutu Hardpoint 250-214 as Envoy gained full streaks and LA Thieves dominated the first rotation to gain a significant lead. While the London Royal Ravens attempted a comeback, the Thieves stopped this and closed out the final hill easily to take a 1-0 series lead.
The Thieves took a 2-0 lead in the series with a 6-4 Search and Destroy win on Berlin. They seemed to have a counter to everything the Royal Ravens did in this match, and the European squad couldn't find a way through to the round 11. LA Thieves continue to look great following the Pro-Am, and move on to a Berlin Control to take the series 3-0.
The series was over in a quick 3-0 following a 3-1 Control victory on Berlin for the LA Thieves. Kenny put up a 1.35 K/D on this map, and Envoy dominated the series as a whole with a 1.27 K/D throughout. The Thieves continue their Pro-Am success and look to place highly at Major 3.
OpTic Texas 3-0 Los Angeles Guerrillas
OpTic Texas made a great run through the Pro-Am Classic with General, and for this matchup, they’ve brought in Prolute. Prolute kicked off his Call of Duty League debut with a victory on Bocage, and while it was close, OpTic was in control at all times. Scump was frying and the comms were flowing as he put up a massive 38 kills on the map to give OpTic a 1-0 lead in the series.
OpTic extended their lead with a 6-3 Berlin Search and Destroy victory, led by the AR duo of Dashy and Prolute. Both players put up 8 kills as they dominated the map and found the long picks to take a 2-0 series lead. The second 3-0 of the night came through following a 3-1 Berlin Control win. The final round came extremely close, but after a strong break, OpTic got through and won the map. Dashy put up 25 kills here as OpTic continued their performance from the Pro-Am Classic, even with a new player.
Atlanta FaZe 3-1 New York Subliners
The New York Subliners are coming off the back of a chip at the Pro-Am, and they began this series with a brilliant 250-229 Berlin Hardpoint win. Continuing from their Pro-Am victory, the Subliners looked great as they gained streaks, and chained together hills to take a 1-0 lead in the series.
Atlanta FaZe hit back in a round 11 on map two, taking the Berlin Search and Destroy 6-5 and tying the series 1-1. After going 4-1 down, Atlanta FaZe came back and took the map, and this momentum also brought them a 3-1 Control win on Gavutu increasing the series lead to 2-1.
The series was closed out by Atlanta FaZe with a 250-225 victory on Tuscan. Abezy dominated here with 40 kills on the map, while Cellium put up a 1.30 overall K/D in the series, something we’ve come to expect from him.
