New York Subliners 3-0 Florida Mutineers
The Florida Mutineers come into this match off a 3-0 loss to Atlanta FaZe yesterday, and it doesn't get any easier taking on the New York Subliners. We went to Hydro for map one, and the New York Subliners came out on top with a 250-228 Hardpoint victory. Kismet was unbelievable in this map, putting up a massive 36 kills while his SMG duo Hydra was close behind with 33.
The New York Subliners went on to dominate map two, taking a 6-2 Hotel Search and Destroy victory to take a 2-0 lead in the series. Hydra was leading the line here, putting up 11 kills and a 2.75 K/D as this looked to be another 3-0 loss for the Florida Mutineers. Unfortunately, it was, NYSL completely dominated map three El Asilo Control with a quick 3-0 sweep. The entire team dominated here, with Hydra putting up a 1.73 K/D and Priestahh dropping a 1.64 in this final map of the series.
Toronto Ultra 3-1 Las Vegas Legion
Toronto Ultra came into today's series with a new roster, seeing Charlie “Hicksy” Hicks enter the starting lineup. He played as if he was a veteran in this map one, with some crucial holds and important multikills to secure a 250-148 Hotel Hardpoint victory and a 1-0 lead in the series. The map two El Asilo Search and Destroy went back and forth throughout, however it was the Las Vegas Legion who clutched up in the round 11 to take a 6-5 victory and tie the series 1-1. This was a well played map from the whole team, however it was a few clutches from TJHaly that saw him put up a 1.60 K/D and top the leaderboard.
Toronto Ultra regained the lead of the series with a 3-2 Hotel Control victory. This map saw four offensive wins in a row, and as always the final round went to the defensive team. CleanX took over in the final round going on a 7 spree and earning streaks, while the entire Ultra team dominated the map for that period and gained a strong life lead. Toronto Ultra closed out the series with a 250-196 Hydro Hardpoint victory. Scrap led the lobby in kills here with 28, and it was a perfectly played map from Ultra that saw them take the series with their new roster.
LA Thieves 3-1 Atlanta FaZe
Atlanta FaZe took an early lead in this Mercado Hardpoint map one however it was a second rotation comeback from the LA Thieves that saw them take a 250-172 victory. Octane led the line in kills here for the Thieves, while Simp put up a massive 23 kills and a 1.64 K/D, but it wasn’t enough to take the map and the LA Thieves took a 1-0 lead in the series.
Atlanta FaZe came back strong with a dominant Search and Destroy on El Asilo to tie the series. A 6-1 victory saw aBeZy and Slasher both put up 8 kills, while Drazah failed to get a kill on the side of the LA Thieves. Drazah had a big comeback map in map three as he put up a massive 29 kills on Hotel Control in a 3-2 victory that saw him drop a 1.71 K/D. The LA Thieves then went on to dominate the final map of the series with a 250-195 Embassy Hardpoint with yet again another great map from Drazah, seeing them bounce back from their loss on day one of Qualifiers.
