Paris Legion 3-2 Toronto Ultra
Paris Legion took map one in a close fought 250-231 Bocage Hardpoint to kick off the series. It was a sweep of 30 bombs for the Legion squad, with GRVTY finishing the map with the highest K/D at 1.35. However, Temp was also dominant, putting up 36 kills and a 1.29. Map two went the whole distance and was decided in round 11. Toronto Ultra bounced back and tied the series 1-1 following some insane clutches, and absolute composure to bring the map back and tie the series.
Toronto Ultra went into the Control with momentum and they used it to dominate Paris Legion and take a 3-0 sweep in map three. Insight ended the map with the highest K/D sitting at a 1.90 as Ultra took a 2-1 series lead. Paris Legion found themselves around 70 points down in map four, however they fought back and took the map 250-248 through some insane clutches, and 30 bombs from John, Temp, and Jimbo.
Paris Legion completely dominated the final map, winning 6-2 and taking the series 3-2. Jimbo and Temp both dropped 2.00 K/D’s in map five, with Jimbo topping the charts with 10 kills.
Los Angeles Guerrillas 3-2 LA Thieves
The Los Angeles Guerrillas started the battle for LA on the front foot, taking map one 250-235. Asim dominated on Tuscan, dropping 40 kills to give his side of Los Angeles a 1-0 series lead. The LA Thieves have struggled in Search and Destroy so far this year, however they took a map two win in round 11, tying the series 1-1. Envoy’s 12 kills and 2.40 K/D was the main factor in this win, pulling his LA Thieves team through this series.
The Thieves then took a 2-1 lead in this series through a 3-2 Control win. However, they were outslayed by 21 kills in this map, and the Guerrillas should have easily been able to close it out. The Los Angeles Guerrillas forced a game five through a dominant map four Hardpoint on Berlin where the SMG duo of Huke and Asim both dropped 30 kills as they took the map win 250-208. The Guerrillas secured the victory in the battle for LA through a 6-1 win in game five, with Gunless finishing the map 10/3 as they took the series.
Atlanta FaZe 3-1 Florida Mutineers
Atlanta FaZe started the series strong with a 250-165 Hardpoint win on Gavutu. The flex player in Cellium absolutely dominated, dropping a 2.00 K/D and giving his FaZe roster the series lead. Following impressive Search and Destroy performances this year, it was no surprise that the Florida Mutineers tied the series 1-1 with a 6-3 map two win.
However, Atlanta FaZe dominated the next two maps, winning 3-1 on Tuscan Control, and 250-199 on Bocage Hardpoint to close out the series in a 3-1 fashion, with Cellium dominating overall and putting up a 1.40 K/D throughout the series.
