Prestinni is joining the Chicago Huntsmen.
Preston “Prestinni” Sanderson has joined the hunt, as the Florida Mutineers have officially traded him to the Chicago Huntsmen. The announcement from the Mutineers came late this morning, where they just stated he was transferred to “another CDL team.” The specific team he was traded to wasn’t revealed until shortly after noon EST, when the Huntsmen officially announced his acquisition.
Prestinni was formerly part of the starting lineup for the Florida Mutineers. He was benched shortly before the Los Angeles Home Series on March 7. Replacing Prestinni was Maurice “Fero” Henriquez. Prestinni cited mental health issues for his benching and was a substitute player for the Mutineers until this announcement.
One reason why this trade is noteworthy is because the Huntsmen are currently home to Prestinni’s brother, Alec “Arcitys” Sanderson. The last time Prestinni played against Arcitys, during the Atlanta FaZe Home Series on February 23, Prestinni was on the winning side. Supposedly Prestinni will be playing alongside his brother once more for the Seattle Surge home series event on May 22.
The Chicago Huntsmen are currently in third place in the CDL overall standings, with 130 points. The Florida Mutineers currently sit in fifth place with 100 points. Currently at the top of the CDL leaderboards are the Atlanta FaZe and Dallas Empire, in first and second place respectively. The next CDL event is the Seattle Surge Home Series, taking place this Friday, May 22. Stay tuned to ESTNN for future coverage of the CDL!
