The FaZe Killer returns to Seattle as a Substitute.
Seattle Surge started the 2022 Call of Duty League season with a bang. The roster composed of a Veteran, an experienced player and two rookies reached the final of the Kickoff Classic, and shook up many fans' perspectives on the team. However, their previous two years in the CDL were nothing like that. And their new substitute knows all about that.
Classic Returns to Seattle Surge
Nicholas “Classic” DiCostanzo joined Seattle Surge in May 2021, after being signed from Paris Legion.
As a veteran of Call of Duty; having played under team banners since 2013, Classic brought a wealth of experience to the Surge roster. However, while their highest placing that year was 5-6th at the Stage 5 Major, this event included the giant slaying of Atlanta FaZe, where Classic dominated.
Some will say he's a substitute, we prefer contract killer. Welcome back Surge legend, NickyD. 🌊@Classic | #DrownThemOut pic.twitter.com/desxzgQ57E

Dubbed the “FaZe Killer”, Classic showed his experience and ability to advance through the Major. And put up Surge’s best result of the 2021 season. Classic joins Surge as a substitute, and will inevitably help them with his experiences in the competitive scene.
