CDL 2022 Kickoff Classic Day 3 Recap

Here’s a recap of everything from Day 3 of the Kickoff Classic

The 2022 Call of Duty League concluded yesterday with the final day of the Kickoff Classic. Here’s all the results, and standout moments from yesterday's action.

Seattle Surge 3-1 New York Subliners

Seattle Surge continued their excellent run of form in the semi final of the Kickoff Classic. Going up against the Subliners was never going to be easy, however an extremely dominant performance saw the Surge roster all go a minimum of +10 in overall kills and completely outslay the Subliners.

While the first map saw Surge take a tough loss, they specifically dominated in the Control, continuing their perfect 9-0 record in Control rounds.

Toronto Ultra 3-2 LA Thieves

Toronto Ultra were victorious in a closely contested match against the LA Thieves which saw them book their spot in the Grand Finals. Ultra were outslayed in this matchup, losing the first Hardpoint and the Control. However, the teamwork and clutch factor they possessed pulled them through in a game five 6-4 to win the match.

Toronto Ultra 3-1 Seattle Surge (Grand Final)

Toronto Ultra brought their momentum into the grand final and took the match 3-1 defeating a hot Seattle Surge. Insight dominated in the Grand Finals, repeating his performances from last year as he put up a 1.25 overall K/D. Following a tightly contested Control, Toronto completely obliterated Surge in map four; 100 point clubbing them and securing the Kickoff Classic Grand Final win.
