CDL 2022 Kickoff Classic Bracket Revealed

The 2022 CDL Season gets underway next week!

The third season of the Call of Duty League gets underway next week as we begin with the Kickoff Classic. Returning from last year, the Kickoff Classic sees all 12 COD League teams go head to head to begin the new season. This year’s event has some differences however, so here’s everything you need to know.

Kickoff Classic Format

The Kickoff Classic sees teams compete in a single elimination bracket across three days, Jan 21-23. Teams are seeded into the bracket following the final standings from the 2021 season; resulting in FaZe, Toronto, Minnesota and OpTic, receiving a first round bye.

Four matches will be played on Friday and Saturday, while Sunday will feature the two Semi Finals and Grand Final. While the format of the series is yet to be confirmed, we assume teams will follow the new Challengers format of Hardpoint, SnD, Hardpoint, Hardpoint, SnD. No CDL points are awarded at this event, however there is a $30,000 prize for the winning team.
