Like a well-timed team ambush in Black Ops 4’s Blackout mode itself, Major League Gaming has just sprung on us a surprise Blackout tournament scheduled for March 29 (tomorrow) at 6 PM Eastern Standard Time.
Not much has been publicly revealed about the tournament as of yet, but what we do know is that it involves “top pros” and “special guests.” Charlie Intel has reported that Clint “Maven” Evans supplied them with a preliminary list of players; we’re guessing that list hasn’t been made public yet because it’s “subject to change.”
This event appears to be tied to something big coming to Black Ops 4’s Blackout mode. A new “After Dark” playlist has been spotted on console versions of the game, but it is currently locked. What the playlist entails is anyone’s guess at this point, but we’re guessing that it’ll be revealed and/or unlocked around when this tournament goes live. You can catch this tournament at twitch.tv/callofduty or right here on ESTNN TV.
