Dallas Empire’s Anthony “Shotzzy” Cuevas-Castro wins the Astro MVP Award for the 2020 Call of Duty League Season.
Anthony “Shotzzy” Cuevas-Castro has been one of the best players in the Call of Duty League this season and therefore wins the MVP award. However, it hasn't been plain sailing for Shotzzy this year. In the first two Home Series, Shotzzy dropped a 0.70 and 0.90 overall K/D. This led to fans referring to him as “Botzzy” for these two weeks but he turned it around and performed exceptionally well throughout the rest of the year.
His overall K/D throughout the whole season is 1.07, the highest on the Dallas Empire and the 4th highest in the league for an SMG player. Dallas Empire ties the Florida Mutineers for the most Home Series wins this season with 3 and will face off against Atlanta FaZe in Winners Finals at the Championship Weekend.
We’re proud to announce Anthony @Shotzzy Cuevas-Castro of the @DallasEmpire as the 2020 Call of Duty League MVP presented by @ASTROGaming. Congratulations!#BuildAnEmpire | #CDL2020 pic.twitter.com/Q1rpoS180l
