Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Data Leak Confirms New Locations On The Horizon

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has become a global phenomenon once again, with millions of happy fans clamoring online to shoot, trash talk, and happily throw live grenades at each other.

Contrastly, many current COD users have been disappointed since the game launched without any clear kind of Battle Royale feature. However, with game rumors for a new Battle Royale at an all-time high, Activision hopes to bring the fan-favorite back with style, grace, and as little loading time as possible.

In a series of posts on the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare subreddit, a data miner with the username of Senescallo,  posted a few bits of information about the “soon to be revealed” game data mine.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare New maps

Senescallo, who previously made a stir online after he uploaded a complete list of maps for the game, made sure to list all current and rumored locales for the new Call of Duty in another post.

Here is an up to date list of all locations included in the post:

Brand New Zones

  • Airfield
  • Boneyard
  • Dam
  • Downtown
  • Gulag
  • Hospital
  • Layover
  • Lumber
  • Overgrown
  • Port
  • Quarry
  • Storage Town
  • Supercenter
  • Trainyard
  • TV Station

High Points of Interest

  • Bank
  • Fire Station
  • Gas Station
  • Gun Store
  • Pharmacy
  • Police Station

The post also revealed that there were some new features being added to the way the game handles respawning. Respawn Tokens can be looted. After one use, Respawn Tokens are disabled for the player. To respawn a teammate, obtain a Respawn Token, then drop their body near an Ambulance. Once the body is dropped at the Ambulance, the player will enter the Gulag queue for a chance to win a 1v1 and respawn into the match.

At some point during the match, the Gulag will be closed and no longer usable, thus preventing respawns. Once a player has respawned, they must locate and activate a Mobile Armory to retrieve their loadout.
