The Call of Duty League continued with week 2 of qualifiers for Major 4, hosted by the New York Subliners. Following some incredible matches on day one, we moved on to four matches for day two, with iLLeY back in the OpTic lineup. Here’s a recap of every map, and every series.

London Royal Ravens 3-1 Florida Mutineers
The London Royal Ravens sit 2-0 in Major 4 Qualifiers following two 3-1 victories over Toronto Ultra and Minnesota ROKKR. Yesterday, Nastie dominated against ROKKR as the Royal Ravens look back to their best. As for the Florida Mutineers, they sit 1-1 following a defeat to the New York Subliners, but a 3-0 victory over Minnesota ROKKR. The Mutineers’ subs seem to have settled, and the Ravens are on a hot streak.
Gismo came into map one and dominated, earning full streaks and putting up 27 kills in a 250-104 Tuscan Hardpoint victory to kick off the series. The London Royal Ravens look to be back to their best in Hardpoint following Gismo’s return to the roster, and he himself has been excellent in the Major 4 qualifiers so far. The Mutineers struggled, with every player putting up less than 20 kills in this first map of the series.
Bocage Search and Destroy was the destination for map two, and this was where the London Royal Ravens took a 2-0 lead in the series. While it went the distance as it usually does with the Ravens, they clutched up and dominated round 11 for a 6-5 victory and 2-0 series lead. Yet again Gismo was dominant, picking up a 1v3 in one of the early rounds as London continue to look amazing in Major 4 Qualifiers.
Tuscan Control seems to be a difficult map for the Royal Ravens so far in Major 4 Qualifiers. With today's map three being almost an identical repeat of yesterday's map, with London taking it to a round five before losing that defense dominantly. This comeback from the Mutineers was led by Skyz who was 2/10 in round 1 and then found himself 11/11 after round two as he earned full streaks. However, the London Royal Ravens came back with a bang in map four with a 250-159 Berlin Hardpoint. Nastie returned to his performance from yesterday, dropping 30 kills as the London Royal Ravens took a 3-1 victory in this series.
OpTic Texas 3-1 Paris Legion
Illey returns to the OpTic Texas roster for this match in Major 4 Qualifiers, and while it wasn't a standout map one from him, he is without a doubt going to make a difference. OpTic Texas took a scrappy Bocage Hardpoint 239-197 with Dashy topping the leaderboard, putting up 39 kills in this map while iLLeY dropped 29 on his return to the roster.
OpTic Texas then took a 2-0 lead in this series following a 6-2 Tuscan Search and Destroy victory. This was an expected win for OpTic Texas, however, what was unexpected was the sheer dominance from Shotzzy. He earned full streaks and ended the map 10/3 even with Johnny pulling off an ace in the first round and putting up 9 kills himself. Paris Legion surprised almost the entire Call of Duty community with a map three 3-1 Tuscan Control win. Johnny was the main slayer as he continued his performance from map two Search and Destroy as he put up 28 kills and earned full streaks while dropping a 1.56 K/D to get Paris Legion on the board.
Illey may not have been a standout player in the first three maps of this series, but he turned up in map four with 29 kills and a 1.81 K/D as he topped the leaderboard on this 250-190 Tuscan Hardpoint victory. While Shotzzy underperformed, iLLeY stepped up on his return to the roster, leading OpTic Texas to a 3-1 series win.
New York Subliners 3-1 Seattle Surge
Seattle Surge suffered a 3-1 defeat yesterday to Boston Breach, including a map one defeat on Bocage Hardpoint. This was repeated today, with the New York Subliners picking up a 250-201 Bocage Hardpoint win to put themselves 1-0 up in the series. This was a lower killing Bocage than we normally see, but Kismet dominated, going 34/20 in this map one with a massive 27 non-traded kills.
New York Subliners continued their form from the Hardpoint into map two as they dominated Seattle Surge on Desert Siege Search and Destroy with a 6-1 victory. Kismet performed once again, however it was PaulEhx with the sniper who topped the leaderboard, going 8/1 as NYSL went 2-0 up against the Major 3 Champs. Seattle Surge got themselves back into the series with a close-fought Tuscan Control that ended 3-2 in their favor. Pred dropped 40 on the side of Seattle Surge as they clutched up to take the map, bringing the series score to 2-1.
The New York Subliners picked up a 250-236 Berlin Hardpoint victory to close out the series 3-1 and go 3-0 in Major 4 Qualifiers. This was a great overall performance from the whole squad on this map, but it was PaulEhx and Kismet who continued their dominance from maps one and two to close out the series.
Los Angeles Guerrillas 3-1 Atlanta FaZe
The Los Angeles Guerrillas came out hot in map one of this series with a 250-206 Bocage Hardpoint victory to go 1-0 up in this series. Atlanta FaZe has struggled on Bocage so far in this season, so it's not a massive surprise that LAG took map one. However, Huke went massive after a slow start as he earned full streaks and ended the map with 31 kills. Atlanta FaZe tied the series 1-1 on a Berlin Search and Destroy, and while it came down to the final moments, aBeZy was there to pick up two kills to close out the 2v4 in the final round. aBeZy finished the map with 10 kills as FaZe took the series to 1-1, a look to continue their run in Major 4 Qualifiers.
Tuscan Control then also went the way of the Guerrillas 3-1, before they took a close fought 250-241 Berlin Hardpoint to round out the series. The Los Angeles Guerrillas came out victorious and shocked the CDL community.
