Call of Duty League 2023 Season Schedule Revealed

The CDL is starting much earlier for 2023, we've got all the significant details below.

The Call of Duty League 2023 season is actually starting in 2022, as the third season of the CDL gets underway just 35 days after the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. The action begins on December 2nd with two weeks of online qualifiers before the Major 1 event.

Call of Duty League 2023 – Major 1 Pro-Am

Major 1 will be the first time in Call of Duty League history that amateur teams are involved in a Major tournament. Hosted in Raleigh, North Carolina, Major 1 will see the top amateur teams face off against the 12 pro teams. These amateur teams will have to qualify for the event, but the ones that don't will still have the chance to play in Raleigh as there will be a Challengers Open the same weekend.

Two more events will also be happening at Major 1, with the Call of Duty Endowment Bowl, where US and UK military face-off, and the COD: Mobile World Championships both taking place that weekend in Raleigh.

Call of Duty League 2023 – Majors 2 – 5

The Call of Duty League season will feature 5 Majors this year, followed by the Championship Weekend. In today’s announcement, we were told about four of the Major locations, Raleigh for Major 1, followed by Boston Breach for Major 2, OpTic Texas will host Major 3 and the New York Subliners run it back with Major 4. The hosts of Major 5 is yet to be known, as well as the location for Champs.

Many fans would love to see an event in London. However, ESTNN understands that this is extremely unlikely for Call of Duty League 2023. So this leads us to believe that LA will most likely be the location for Champs again, with Major 5 possibly heading back to Toronto, or to the new relocated Legion in Las Vegas.
