OpTic Gaming's Dashy is getting some well-deserved recognition for his sniper skills.
So many things are happening this week in the world of Call of Duty.
From “are they really true” reports of a brand new Battle Royale mode, to the prior announcement that there will be an entirely new Modern Warfare game by the end of this year, fans are constantly in a tizzy deciphering what is real and what is sheer bunk.
One thing that isn’t a rumor, however, is the amount of talent and recognition that fans and League officials alike have for their sniper savior, OpTic Dashy, AKA Brandon Otell.
It seems only fitting that one of the most acclaimed snipers in the history of Call of Duty has would eventually link up with OpTic. After all, OpTic was the first-ever sniper team, starting way back in 2006.
The video is a detailed description that goes through the ups and downs of Otell’s career, ending with a look towards his future and what next lies ahead for the fan-favorite player. Hopefully, with the amount of traction that he as well as other sniper-savvy players are getting this COD League season, there will be more and more chances for sniper only matches in the battles yet to come.
It should be noted that Dashy is tied with Crimsix and Seany for most kills in a” single 4v4 Search and Destroy” match, that record taking place during a major championship with 20 versus Rise Nation at the 2018 CWL Open in Dallas. Dashy also helped win the CWL Las Vegas Open 2019 for his team, where he took home the award for MVP of the entire tournament.
