The Atlanta FaZe Twitter account went on to confirm that the games will play out in EST (Eastern Standard Time). This was leaving some international Call of Duty fans clamoring to figure out what that would mean for their stream.
So far there are four confirmed matches taking place this Saturday. The Minnesota Rokkr will take on the Paris Legion, the London Royal Ravens battling the Florida Mutineers, the Chicago Huntsmen are pitted against the Toronto Ultra, and hometown heroes Atlanta FaZe will fight to the esports death against Optic Gaming Los Angeles.
The first-round matchups for each group will be determined ahead of each event by the League Office. Over the course of each Home Series Weekend, the four teams that have won two matches in their respective groups will advance to compete in a single-elimination bracket to determine the Home Series Weekend event winner.
After those four matches are decided, the winners will be pitted against each other (as well as the losers) with four more semi-final matches scheduled afterward that day for the teams. Five matches are scheduled later on that Sunday, three of which will be official final games.
