The International nears as players high-five their way to the qualifiers.

Valve has released the Dota Plus Summer Update which sees the return of High Five and Guild Banners for everyone. Apart from the seasonal update, They've also mentioned the TI qualifier dates among other details.

As spring concludes, a new patch brings the Dota Plus Summer update to the users; including High Five and Guild Banners. Valve has traditionally dropped the Seasonal Treasure which is exclusive to Dota Plus members. The treasure contains sets for Chaos Knight, Phantom Assassin, Outworld Destroyer, Wraith King, Sven, Treant Protector, Huskar, Brewmaster, Storm Spirit, and Naga Siren. It also has the Trod & Cheddar courier loaded with random prismatic and kinetic gems as a “Very Rare” item.

Dota 2 will also see renewed Dota Plus quests and rewards to yield up to 115,200 fresh shards for the users. The guild tier rewards have seen some changes too, as well as additions according to the respective tiers.

The International 10

The upcoming AniMajor will conclude on June 13 and Valve wants teams to have enough space for teams to follow their country’s respective quarantine processes. To successfully implement this, the game developing giant has spread out the Regional Qualifiers. The Eastern Europe and South America qualifiers will begin from June 23-26, the North America and Southeast Asia matches will follow from June 30 - June July 3 and lastly the China and Western Europe matches will start from July 7-10.

Starting from August 10 - 15, The International main event will be live from Avicii Arena in Stockholm, Sweden.
