Since Nightingale is a survival game, being able to carry more resources with you is always a useful thing, as well as a welcome one. For this reason, it is important that you know how to increase the carry limit in Nightingale. If you're just starting out in the game and looking for a way to increase your inventory capacity, you're in the right place. In this article, we will tell you everything you need to know about it, so that you no longer have to give up carrying resources to make room for others.
How to Increase Capacity in Nightingale
As soon as you start the game, you will realize that in Nightingale there are not many slots available to store your resources. For this reason, you will soon need to increase the capacity of your inventory. Fortunately, there is a way to do this. But which? We explain it in detail in this article.
In the beginning, you can collect enough stuff for the tutorial without any big problems. But once you start exploring the game's tough areas, you'll realize you need more space than just what you can hold in your pockets. Luckily, there's a simple way to get more space—by using a backpack. It not only helps you carry more things, which is important for making complicated stuff and having all the tools and weapons you need, but it also boosts your overall score in the game.
To get your first backpack, you need to make one. To do that, you first have to make something called a Simple Sewing Bench. And to do that, you need to find the instructions for it. You can get these instructions from a local trader in the area you're playing in. They usually have it under the “Crafting: Basics and Repair” section. It costs 55 Essence Dust, which you can get right at the start of the game by extracting it.
Once you know how to make it, the Simple Sewing Bench needs you to get 10 bundles of wood, 15 fibers, and one bone. You can find a lot of these things easily all around the Nightingale world, like in the trees and animals you see around. Now, once you have the instructions and the resources, you pick a spot to put your Simple Sewing Bench and make it.
Then, to make the Simple Backpack, you just need 2 pieces of leather and 6 pieces of plant fiber. You can get these from animals and plants nearby your base. Once you have all the items, you can make your first backpack. It will double how much stuff you can carry, from 50 kg to 100 kg, which will make gathering resources much easier. Remember that there are more advanced backpacks in Nightingale once you progress in the game, which means that you can continue to expand your inventory capacity.
