Madden 19 Top 5 Rookies
  • 1: Quenton Nelson, Left Guard, Indianapolis Colts (83 OVR) – The #1 lineman off the board during the 2018 NFL Draft, Nelson is a powerhouse with 97 strength, a run block rating of 85, and a pass block rating of 82.
  • 2: Saquon Barkley, Running Back, New York Giants (82 OVR) – Barkley boasts elite speed and acceleration, 93 and 92 respectively, he should be a nightmare in the swing passing game as well.
  • 3: Baker Mayfield, Quarterback, Cleveland Browns (81 OVR) – Mayfield starts the year with a throw power stat of 95, and an 88 throw on the run rating. Those are incredible numbers and probably a bit too high for the backup Browns QB.
  • 4: Roquan Smith, Middle Linebacker, Chicago Bears (81 OVR) – With an 89 speed rating, an 88 tackle and 87 hit power, watch out for user controlled players using this guy. He will likely be a top target in all franchises and Ultimate Teams.
  • 5: Bradley Chubb, Defensive End, Denver Broncos (80 OVR) – Chubb is pure power, with an 91 strength and 89 finesse moves he’ll beat your O-lineman, and he’ll catch your RB in the backfield with a solid 83 speed.

As per usual, we can’t wait to see how these players develop after a couple years of Franchise mode.
