Infinity Ward Production Designer Apologizes for Size of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Patch
| Tags: Call of Duty
Long time video game developer, Paul Haile, has a very hard job: making sure Call of Duty fans stay consistently happy.
He’s the Production Director at Infinity Ward, specifically for Modern Warfare, and with the way things have been for the Call of Duty community as of late, there is no doubt that the guy has been struggling.
He recently tweeted about the latest COD gaming update Season 2 patch, specifically about how long it has been taking some fans to download. It's a huge update that's causing a lot of trouble for many in the community. This is especially true for those with little storage space and/or slow download speeds.
hey all – as we push season 2 live i just want to apologize about the download size of this update. we're constantly trying to fight back against both download size and disk footprint and in this case we're re-sending new asset packs to reduce the overall size of the game.

“We're constantly trying to fight back against both download size and disk footprint and in this case we're re-sending new asset packs to reduce the overall size of the game,” Haile stated.
He went on to comment further about the reception fans had been having to the update.
this is what has caused the update today to be so big. after todays download you should see that, even though we've added season 2 and the associated content for it, the overall size of the game should shrink a little on your local hard drive.

“I'm very conscious of the overall size of MW and we're doing what we can to minimize this for everyone. Thanks!” Haile also said.
While this seems like a more than fair explanation for the likes of Twitterdom, some users were quick to comment and gif back responses, taunting or mocking poor Paul in the process of explaining how they couldn’t play their game the same way anymore.

I'm sorry but I am very disappointed, I Already deleted 4 games in the past and now another probably 5 games for one game?
