Both Dota 2 and Dota Underlords are getting massive patches coming in the near future.
As fans probably know, Valve released a large Matchmaking update recently with the main focus on ways to improve upon the changes made during the last patch. Valve finally seems as though they are tackling toxic community with actual tools, and fans can see that through the client improvements. In the past few months, almost all of Valve's changes have been to make the game more player-friendly.
Dota 2 Matchmaking changes
Yesterday, Valve released another small update, this time focusing on restricting Immortal players to being only able to play with other Immortal or Divine players in ranked games. In other words, if a player hasn't reached at least the Divine rank, they won’t end up in a game with an Immortal player.
Dota Underlords Gets its Biggest UpDate yet
ESTNN mentioned yesterday that the developers of Dota Underlords have the biggest Underlords update ever made in the works. In fact, they even refer to it as “The Big Update” internally. It's a clear sign that it will affect the Underlords community in a large way. According to the previous post, two newe Alliances will make their debut in the update: Healer and Insect. Apart from these two, there are also several new heroes and Alliances have have appeared online.
Dota Underlords Champion Alliance and Legion Commander
Finally, after all this time, one of the most popular heroes in Dota 2 is coming to Dota Underlords. What’s more, it looks like Legion Commander will also have an Alliance of his own simply called "Champion." hile w don’t really know much about LC or his Alliance at this point, we do know a detail about one of his abilities called "Duel," which will always taunt the lowest health enemy in range and forceit to attack Legion Commander. If either hero dies during the duration, the one hero that won the battle will receive a permanent damage bonus for the rest of the game.
The Brute Alliance
In addition to Legion Commander, Dota Underlords will also have two new heroes coming by way of Lifestealer and Magnus. These two Dota Underlords newcomers will join the likes of Doom, Axe and Trent Protector to form the Brute Alliance. As a side effect of the Brute Alliance, whenever a member attacks an enemy, they will deal additional damage in addition to applying a damage debuff.
