March Madness 2022 Final Four – All That You Need to Know
Unlike last season when the NCAA Tournament was played in its entirety in Indiana, this March Madness goes back to the regular system that includes multiple cities and venues. However, as always, the Final Four will be played in one place and it’s Caesars Superdome in New Orleans. Find out all the March Madness Offers on the Caesars Sportsbook promo code page.
The Final Four games will be played on April 2nd and the first game is scheduled to kick off at 6 p.m. ET, while the time for the second game is still to be decided. Finally, the Championship Game is scheduled for April 4th, at 9 p.m. ET.
TBS will broadcast the games live, but you can also watch the Final Four on the live stream at NCAA March Madness Live and Paramount+.
Final Four Predictions – Who Makes It to New Orleans?
Getting to the Final Four stage is the dream for every college basketball player, but this unique experience is reserved only for the best teams and players in the entire country.
Of course, once a team reaches this stage of the NCAA Tournament, winning it all becomes more than a dream. But being one of the last four teams to stand takes a lot of talent, hard work, and even a little bit of luck.
In any case, the bracket for March Madness 2022 is ready and all the teams know their road to the Final Four. Will we see the favorites make it to the very end or will we see some huge upset along the way? Here are our Final 4 predictions for this March Madness:
West Region – Gonzaga Bulldogs
After reaching the Championship Game last season in which they lost to Baylor pretty convincingly, the Bulldogs will be hoping for another chance to win the entire tournament. Gonzaga is ranked number one in the country, so they are certainly among the main favorites of going all the way, so it’s hardly surprising that we included them in our March Madness Final 4 predictions.
The team is in great form right now since they’ve won the West Coast Conference Tournament before the start of March Madness, losing just one game in the process in the Conference. The Zags are led by Chet Holmgren, one of the top prospects for the upcoming NBA draft, as well as Drew Timme who won the Player of the Year award for WCC.
West Region Seed: No. 1
Overall Seed: No. 1
Odds to Reach Final Four: -200
Odds to Win: +334
East Region – Kentucky Wildcats
With 17 Final Four appearances to date, Kentucky is one of the teams that reached this stage of the NCAA Tournament the most times – third most to be exact. So, it’s always smart to bet on the Wildcats reaching the Final Four and this year is no different.
Although the Wildcats failed to win the SEC Tournament, they are still one of the deepest teams in the NCAA with more than a few prospects like Kellan Grady, Sahvir Wheeler, and, of course, Oscar Tshiebwe. Add the experienced coach John Calipari to the mix and Kentucky is always ready to make a splash.
East Region Seed: No. 2
Overall Seed: No. 6
Odds to Reach Final Four: +150
Odds to Win: +630
South Region – Villanova Wildcats
Although Villanova has only won the NCAA Tournament three times, which is good but not as good as some other big teams, two of those titles came in the last five years. Furthermore, some of the players that won the 2018 NCAA Tournament are still here, like the team’s best player Collin Gillespie who won the Player of the Year award in the Big East twice.
So, Villanova has the quality and the experience to fight for the highest goals. At the very least, they deserve to be seen as contenders to reach the Final Four and we expect to see them in New Orleans in April.
South Region Seed: No. 2
Overall Seed: No. 7
Odds to Reach Final Four: +336
Odds to Win: +1800
Midwest Region – Kansas Jayhawks
When Ochai Agbaji withdrew from the NBA draft last season, all Jayhawks fans probably let a happy scream out since it meant that their best player will play another season with the team. That being said, Kansas has a few other interesting prospects that boost their chances of reaching the Final Four, like Dajuan Harris Jr, Christian Braun, David McCormack, and Jalen Wilson.
The depth of this Kansas team is probably their biggest strength and it showed in the Big 12 Tournament in which the Jayhawks were pretty dominant. All in all, we can definitely see Kansas being one of the teams in the March Madness 2022 Final Four Tournament.
Midwest Region Seed: No. 1
Overall Seed: No. 3
Odds to Reach Final Four: +160
Odds to Win: +1100
