NBA Playoffs 2022: Series, Bracket, and Championship Winner Odds Tracker

Our NBA Playoffs Tournament Picks

The top eight teams from each conference are advancing to the NBA Playoffs hoping to have a chance to play for the championship. The top six teams from each conference are going straight to the Playoffs while the last two spots from each conference are booked after the play-in tournament.

In order to win the championship, a team needs to win four best-of-seven series or a total of 16 games in the Playoffs.

The top seed of the conference is playing the eighth seed in the first round, the second plays the seventh, the third play the sixth and the fourth is going against the fifth seed.

The team with the better record in each series has the home-court advantage meaning that they will play the first two games of the series at home and the fifth and the seventh if necessary.

So, if you want to place a bet on which team will win the series you are actually betting on which team will get to four wins, regardless of if four or more games are played in the series. It is worth noting that the odds throughout the series are changing based on the current score in the series, injuries, which team plays at home, and other factors that may impact the outcome of the game. Keeping a record of all these details may sound a little demanding but that’s why our NBA expert daily picks are here for.

Eastern Conference Finals

(1) Miami Heat vs. (2) Boston Celtics – Series tied at 2-2

Odds to win the series: Miami Heat 155; Boston Celtics -175

The Boston Celtics are back in the series against the Miami Heat with an easy 102-82 Game 4 win at the TD Garden. Ime Udoka’s team started furiously, just like the Heat did in Game 3, and took a 29-11 lead after the first quarter. Soon after, it seemed like Eric Spoelstra realized that his team will not be able to come back in this game and decided to rest his top players and give a chance to the bench squad. That resulted with no Heat starter scoring in double digits, as a matter of fact they scored only 18 points in the game. Victor Oladipo was the top scorer for Miami with 23 points followed by Duncan Robinson with 14 and Caleb martin with 12 points.

After scoring only 10 points in Game 3, Jayson Tatum came back strong putting up 31 for the Celtics. Payton Pritchard had 14 points off the bench, Derrick White had 13 and Jaylen Brown and Robert Williams III added 12 points each.

Both teams had poor shooting percentages from the field with the Celtics shooting 39.7% and the Heat 33.3%. Marcus Smart missed Game 4 for the Celtics and Tyler Herro didn’t suit up for the Heat.

Now the series is returning to Miami where the Heat will host the Celtics on Wednesday for Game 5 of the series.

Western Conference Finals

(3) Golden State Warriors vs. (5) Dallas Mavericks – Golden State leads the series 3-1

Odds to win the series: Golden State -4000; Dallas 1650

The Dallas Mavericks stay alive in the Western Conference Finals series after a 119-109 win in Game 4. The Mavericks were much more dominant in the game than what the final score says as the Warriors won the final quarter 39-20 to cut the deficit to 10. No team in NBA history has come back after being 3-0 down in a series and the Mavs are pretty unlikely to do it but what gives them a chance is the fact that they did come back after being 2-0 against the Pheonix Suns.

Luka Doncic was the best player on the court in Game 4 scoring 30 points, 14 rebounds and 9 assists for the Mavs. Dorian Finney Smith scored 23 and Reggie Bullock added 18 for the winning team. The Mavs shot exactly 50% from the field and 35.7% from the three-point line.

Six Warriors players scored in double figures led by Steph Curry with 20 points and Jonathan Kuminga with 17 points.

Game 5 of the series is scheduled for Thursday night in San Francisco.

NBA Championship Outright Odds

Placing a bet on an NBA game on daily basis following our daily parlay picks is really fun but so is the betting on which team will win the championship.

It seems like there haven’t been more exciting Playoffs with many teams looking at the chance to win it all.

In the East, the defending champions Milwaukee Bucks look really good despite Khris Middleton’s injury. The Boston Celtics have emerged as contenders after they swept the Nets in the first round and are the first team that qualified for the second.

In the West, the Golden State Warriors are the best team since Devin Booker got injured and the Suns’ advancement is up in the air.
