Milwaukee Bucks vs. Boston Celtics Game 5 Preview
The Boston Celtics were on the edge of losing Game 4 and falling 3-1 down against the Milwaukee Bucks as the defending champions had a double-digit lead in the third quarter. The young Celtics team didn’t give up and went hot in the fourth quarter winning this period by 43-28. That gives them not just a win and a series tie but all the confidence and the momentum going into Game 5 on home court in TD Garden. Jayson Tatum bounced back in Game 5 scoring 30 points after his worst game of the playoffs scoring only 10 points in the previous one. Al Horford played a major role in that one as the veteran center scored 16 of his 30 points in the fourth quarter. Previously he had a confrontation with Giannis Antetokounmpo which obviously woke up the beast in him.
The Celtics are 5.5-point favorites going into Game 5 which will probably be hard to cover against the defending champions. The Bucks’ best shooter Khris Middleton is still sidelined with an injury and Jrue Holiday and Pat Connaughton will have to step up to give the Bucks a winning chance. Giannis Antetokounmpo is simply unstoppable and his performance is not questionable at all. The Greek Freak always finds a way to have a huge impact on the game even if he has low shooting percentages. A player of that class can take over each game and the Celtics will have a tough time holding him back despite the fact that the C’s has the best defense in the league. The Bucks also have a deeper rotation especially now when the backup point guard George Hill is back in the lineup.
