Milwaukee Bucks vs. Boston Celtics Game 2 Preview
The Milwaukee Bucks have won Game 1 101-89 against the second seed in the Eastern Conference – the Boston Celtics. The defending champion played without their All-Star shooting guard Khris Middleton, who will probably miss the rest of the series, and their back up point guard George Hill. The last season’s NBA Finals MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo didn’t have a good shooting night making only 9 of his 25 field goal attempts but he proved his class by posting a triple-double with 24 points, 13 rebounds and 12 assists. The Celtics simply had no answer for the Greek Freak. Boston shot a horrible 33.3% from the field with Jayson Tatum leading the way with 21 points. Jaylen Brown and Al Horford scored 12 points each which was to low for the Celtics to be even close to winning Game 1.
Now, Ime Udoka’s team is facing a situation in which they have to win Game 2 on Tuesday. If they fail to do so, the Celtics will be 2-0 down and going to Milwaukee for the next two games of the series. The Celtics are a 4.5-favorites going into Game 2 which is a little too much after what we saw in the opening game of the series. Boston will certainly shoot much better and keep the game close and even if they win, it won’t be by more than 4 points.
