Miami Heat vs. Philadelphia 76ers Game 4 Preview

Joel Embiid had a fantastic regular season finishing as the NBA top scorer and becoming the first center since Hakeem Olajuwon in the mid-1990s to achieve that. He is one of the three finalists in the MVP race but what is more important for him is to win with the Sixers. Unfortunately, Embiid suffered a right orbital fracture and mild concussion in Game 6 of the series against the Toronto Raptors and was forced to miss the start of the series against the Eastern Conference top seed. Miami took advantage of the situation and dominated the first two games at home, easily going 2-0 in the series. And just when everybody thought that this series is over, Embiid pushed for his return and with the doctor’s approval, came back for Game 3 wearing a mask. The center finished the game with 18 points and 11 rebounds which is far under his average but his presence was a real boost for his team and the Sixers went on to win 99-79. With the win, the Sixers are back in the series and even more, they have the momentum going into Game 4. Embiid will definitely play even better than he did and with help from their home crown, the Sixers will have a real chance to tie the score in the series. The Sixers are a 2-point favorite going into Game 4 but the Heat will be ready to fight back after the tough loss.
