Miami Heat vs. Boston Celtics Game 3 Preview

The Boston Celtics tied the series at one game apiece with a dominant win in Game 2 in FTX Arena in Miami. With Marcus Smart and Al Horford back in the lineup, the Celtics were much better, especially on the defensive end winning 127-102 at the end. The Heat opened up the game better in the first five minutes and from that point on, it was all Celtics. Boston made 20 three-pointers twice as many as Miami and had a much better shooting percentage in general. Three of the Celtics scored over 20 points and only Jimmy Butler was hot for the Heat.

Things have changed now as the series moves to TD Garden. The Celtics are favorites to win the series and are 6-point favorites going in Game 3. Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown are playing well together being able to score both from the inside and outside. Marcus Smart is doing all the dirty work on both sides of the floor. The weakest spot in the Celtics lineup is the bench but Grant Williams and Payton Pritchard have been excellent in the last game. Miami is definitely a team that can win on the road but Jimmy Butler cannot do that by himself. Bam Adebayo will have to step up and try to be more productive in the paint.

With both teams winning one of the opening two games, this one will be a tough fight with much fewer points than the previous two games.
