Golden State Warriors vs. Memphis Grizzlies Game 2 Preview
The Grizzlies are going to need to find more balanced scoring as Ja Morant (34) and Jaren Jackson Jr. (33) were the only players to break 15 points in Game 1. Dillon Brooks and Desmond Bane have been money behind Morant this season, but both shot terribly in Game 1 and had single-digit points. They must deliver because it’s not like Jackson is going to have a career game again.
As for the Warriors, they could stand to do better staying out of foul trouble. While referees may not be so quick to eject Draymond Green for another flagrant foul, there was foul trouble for Klay Thompson and Steph Curry as well in this game. Both of those shooters need to stay in rhythm for the Warriors to take a 2-0 lead back home to Golden State. But Memphis was the best team at covering the spread this season.
It could be another great, exciting game on Tuesday night after Game 1 was arguably the highlight of this postseason so far.
