The top story of the regular season is the Los Angeles Lakers who entered the season as the top contenders for the NBA championship and ended up as one of the biggest disappointments in league’s history.

Individually, Nikola Jokic has had another impressive season and he is a frontrunner to win the MVP award in back-to-back years. The Nuggets center recently became the only player in NBA history to record more than 2,000 points, 1,000 rebounds and 500 assists in a single season.
