Dolphins vs. Chargers NFL Week 14 Preview

The Chargers and Dolphins both suffered tough losses in Week 13. The Chargers only managed 13 points on offense and Justin Herbert was sacked five times by the Raiders. The Dolphins had an incredible start in San Francisco with a 75-yard touchdown pass on the first play, but Tua Tagovailoa had his worst game of the season and the team lost 33-17. Neither team does a great job of running the football.

This will be the second career meeting between Herbert and Tagovailoa, who were both drafted in 2020. The Dolphins won the last matchup, 29-21, back in 2020. Herbert had a costly interception early in the fourth quarter that day.

Miami comes in favored again with much more speed than what the Chargers have at receiver, assuming Jaylen Waddle (fibula) is good to go after being injured last week. Mike Williams is hoping to return from a high-ankle sprain for the Chargers. But Tyreek Hill can be the difference maker as he has a history of big plays against Los Angeles when he was in Kansas City.

The total is high and the expectations are for a good one between two playoff contenders.
