Game 6 NBA Finals Same Game Parlay Picks: Golden State Warriors @ Boston Celtics
Boston Celtics Over 109.5 Total Points
In the first four games of the NBA Finals, the Celtics and the Warriors showed different faces, but the Warriors were just a bit better and more consistent, which is why they are leading the series 3-2 at the moment. That being said, the Celtics showed a lot of great things as well, but their offense was lacking in some of the games.
In fact, in the two games that the Celtics won, they scored 116 and 120 points. So, it’s clear that the Celtics need to be their best on the offensive end if they want to win the game. After all, their defense has done a very good job in almost all games so far, but the lack of offense cost them at least one game. And since we expect the Celtics to win this game, we can also see them scoring at least 110 points.
Steph Curry Under 28.5 Total Points
In the first four games of the series, Steph Curry has been truly amazing and there is no doubt that he will be the Finals MVP if the Warriors end up winning the title. Curry averaged a bit more than 34 points in the Finals in those four games, but as we expected, the Celtics adjusted their defense and focused on Curry more in Game 5, keeping him at just 16 points.
Of course, some of it was his own fault since this was the game in which Curry failed to score at least one three after he did so for 233 games in a row, which is the NBA record. In any case, we expect something similar in Game 6, especially since the game will be played in Boston. So, we don’t see Curry scoring 29 or more points in this game.
Robert Williams Over 1.5 Total Blocks
After four games in the NBA Finals in which he had at least two blocks, Williams III failed to record a block in Game 5. That was certainly a surprising turn of events for everyone, including the bookies since the line was set at 2.5 total blocks on Williams in the last game.
Now that line is once again back to 1.5 total blocks and we feel that this is a good opportunity to bet on this market. Yes, the odds are a bit lower than what we would’ve liked, but Williams is one of the best shot blockers in the entire league, so betting on him to block a couple of shots in Game 6 sounds like a reasonable bet.
What bet types can I bet on during 2022 NBA Playoffs?
When it comes to the nature of the markets themselves, the bet types are countless. The most popular ones, however are:
- Money Line – you predict which team will win the game outright
- Spread – this is the handicap of the NBA game. One team gets an imaginery amount of points while the same amount is subtracted from the other team’s final score. The goal is to create a market with even values on both sides thus giving us equal odds of -110 on each side.
- Totals – here you predict if the total points in the game will go over or under a certain number.
What are single and what are NBA parlay bets?
- When you place just one-selection wager on your bet slip, we say that this is a single. If it wins, the whole slip wins.
Example: Dallas Mavericks to win Game 1 of the NBA Playoffs vs the Utah Jazz @ +175.
If you bet $100 and Dallas wins the game, you will receive $275. (this includes your stake)
- If you wish to bet on more than one selection on the same slip, this is what we call a parlay. With parlays, you have multiple selections on the same bet slip, and the odds are all multiplied together times your wager. For such a slip to be a winner, all of your selections must be winners.
Example:
Selection 1: Kevin Durant to score over 27.5 points @ -115
Selection 2: LA Clippers to win @ +333
Selection 3: Utah Jazz to win @ -200
When you multiply the odds here, you get +1115. The catch is that all 3 selections must be winning for the slip to win. If one selection fails, then the whole slip loses and you lose your stake.
How are my NBA Playoff parlay payouts calculated?
If we take a look at the example above, we have collective odds of +1115. This means that if you wager $200, you will get net winnings of $2,230.
What are NBA Same game parlays and are they different from regular NBA playoff parlays?
Same game parlays work in the same way regular parlays work. The only difference is that the operator, in this case, allows you to combine selections from the same match. Typically, sportsbooks do not allow this. But for the NBA playoffs, such promotions are pretty common.
- Regular parlays are available all the time while same game parlays are typically allowed only during special occasions or tournaments such as the NBA 2022 playoffs.
- Same game parlays are typically part of some promos but this is also an opportunity to claim some special offers and promos
- Same game parlays often come with boosted odds which makes them even more attractive.
