Arizona Cardinals vs Seattle Seahawks odds and lines preview
Both teams will look to go back to being .500 after the game. What’s more interesting is the fact that the Cardinals and the Seahawks are well-known division rivals, and this raises the stakes. To make it even spicier, both teams got something more to play for. Geno Smith will keep pushing the narrative that he is a staring quarterback in this league and that his team even though heavily underestimated is actually for real.
With the Cardinals, we have a similar pattern but it’s more like a fall from grace. The team which was boasting a high-powered offense over the last couple of seasons struggles to move the ball so far. This is a classic ‘’get right’’ game for the Cards and we will see if they are capable of travelling north and winning in a hostile environment.
NFL week 6 predictions – players to watch in that game
Here are the important pieces to each team. If you want to bet on some specific players’ performances, check out the best NFL player prop bets we got for the week
Arizona Cardinals
Eno Benjamin: The third-year running back will have an opportunity to show why he shouldn’t be a third-stringer. With Darrel Williams and James Conner both ruled out for the game, it will be Benjamin’s gig. He’s got a total of 136 yards so far in the year on 30 carries. He might almost double that production in four quarters this Sunday.
Seattle Seahawks
Ken Walker: The Seahawks are in a similar situation when it comes to their backfield. Star running back Rashaad Penny is out for the season with a shoulder injury and rookie running back Ken Walker will have to step up. He sustained a sports hernia surgery during training camp but should be ready to go. With 146 yards for the season, it will be curious to see if he reaches 100 in this one game alone.
NFL bets of the week for the Cardinals @ Seahawks match
We got two top bets on that game. Our experts have looked at the markets that provide the best value. Check them out.
Cardinals @ Seahawks spread: Seattle +2.5 @ -110
This line can be seen at 3.0 at some places even though they will likely give you -120. At +2.5 we are still happy to back Seattle as we think their new defensive scheme will finally start to work. Unfortunately, Seattle gives up 170.2 rushing yards per game which is dead last in the NFL.
Against a team with a third-string running back though, we see good chances for that to change. Not to mention that the Seahawks re-signed Bruce Irvin who will at least provide a little boost to that linebacking corps. Al Woods may play in the game which is huge when we talk about stopping the run.
Arizona is 21st against the pass and Geno has been in the best form of his life. The weapons that Seattle has through the air are not to be underestimated and one could argue they are better than Arizona’s.
If Kyler Murray has problems seeing over the line and is submitted to heavy pressure, he might have problems moving the ball consistently.
Bet on NFL with caesars >D.K Metcalf to score a touchdown in the game @ +140
Metcalf did not start the season very strong, but it appears the wide receiver has started to gel with QB Geno Smith. In each of the last two games, DK has had at least one reception of 50+ yards. He also has 2 touchdowns of the year. He would have had 3 if it wasn’t for a holding penalty against Detroit.
His average yards per reception have gone up and in the last 3 games he had 12.8, 21.3 and 17.6 yards per catch on a total of 30 targets. If he averages the same usage rate in this game, chances are he will find himself with the ball in his hands in the end zone.
