Boston Celtics vs. Milwaukee Bucks Game 4 Preview

The Milwaukee Bucks finished the regular season as the third seed in the Eastern Conference which made them an underdog in the Playoff series against the Boston Celtics. The C’s finished second in the conference but lost the home court advantage over the Bucks in the opening game of the series. Now the defending champions will have a chance to add another win at home and go 3-1 up against the Celtics. They used their experience to seal the deal in the final minute of Game 3 as Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jrue Holiday score to give the Bucks a three-point lead. The Celtics had multiple shots in the final seconds to tie the game but the one that went in, was a little too late.

Jayson Tatum is the best scorer on the Celtics team but he had only 10 points in Game 3 with poor shooting of only 4-of-19. Anyway, the Celtics were very close to win even though the whole team shot just over 36% from the field. The Celtics will have to bounce back in Game 4 and they will definitely have a chance since the best defensive player in the league Marcus Smart has returned to the lineup after missing Game 2 with an injury. The Celtics bench is pretty limited as Grant Williams, Derrick White and Payton Pritchard are the only players who gets some playing time but none of them have a real impact on the game. If some of them have an outstanding performance, as Williams did in Game 2, the Celtics will have a real chance of tying the series at 2 wins apiece.

The Bucks are still without their second All-Star player Khris Middleton who will most likely miss the whole series. Pat Connaughton has stepped up and played really well to cover for Middleton. The backup point guard George Hill returned in the lineup in Game 3 which makes the Bucks rotation much longer than the Celtics one.

The Bucks are one-point favorite going into Game 4 which is a real sign that this one will be a very close game that may be decided on one possession just like the previous one.
