Check out our Boston Celtics vs. Brooklyn Nets betting picks and odds for the NBA Eastern Conference Playoffs First Round Game 4 that will take place in Barclays Center, Brooklyn, NY, on April 25, 2022.
The Boston Celtics have had an excellent start of the NBA Playoffs probably even better than they hoped for. The C’s are 3-0 up against the Brooklyn Nets and are going into the Game 4 with a chance to finish the series.
Ime Udoka’s team has shown great level of maturity despite having a really young team and a short rotation. Jayson Tatum scored 39 points in Game 3 to lead the Celtics to a 109-103 win. Many believe that Tatum is growing into one of the top 5 players in the league and is actually taking that torch from Kevin Durant.
After a poor shooting performance in game 2 where Durant shot only 4-of-17 from the field, it was expected KD to go hot but it seems like he didn’t even try to do that. Durant was the second leading scorer in the regular season averaging 29.9 points per game but in Game 3, with the series on the line, he took only 11 shots. Yes, he had 8 rebounds and 8 assists but his 16 points performance was definitely not what was expected of him.
Kyrie Irving was no better as the point guard missed all of his seven three-point attempts and finished with 16 points on 6-of-17 shooting from the field.
Bruce Brown came out for nowhere for the Nets scoring a career playoff high of 26 points. Nic Claxton and Patty Mills were good off the bench but none of that could make up for another bad game from Durant and Irving.
The Nets are now on the verge of another early Playoff exit despite being considered one of the top favorites to win this season. No team has ever returned from a 3-0 down in the series and is very hard to believe that the Nets can do that.
However, Durant and Irving are not type of players who will give up and allow to be swept by the young Celtics team. At least one of them will have to go over 30 points in Game 4 to give the Nets some chance of returning the series to Boston.

Boston Celtics vs Brooklyn Nets Game 4 Predictions
Nets -1
The Brooklyn Nets are a complete disappointment in this season’s playoffs. After making a strong push in the final couple of weeks of the regular season and a confident win over the Cleveland Cavaliers in the play-in tournament game, the Nets are now with their back against the wall as the Celtics are 3-0 up. Everybody expected Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving to step up but the two super stars are having their worst shooting performances in a while. The Celtics, on the other hand, have Jayson Tatum who is killing the Nets on the offensive floor. However, the Nets are too good of a team and superstars like Durant and Irving will not allow being swept in the first round of the Playoffs.

Bet on NBA Playoffs With CaesarsOver 220
After the last game finished 12 points under the total point margin, this time around the set margin are a little lower. The Celtics have the best defense in the league based on the stats and there is only one way how the Nets can win, and that is to score a lot. Durant and Irving will leave everything they got on the court in order to avoid being swept, they are just too good of players and this one have a lot to do with their pride as well.

Kevin Durant over 28.5
Kevin Durant is still considered as one of the top 3 players in the league but tonight he may lose that if he does not show up. KD averaged 29.9 points per game in the regular season and scored only 16 in the last game taking only 11 shots. In game 2 he did score 27 points but shot 4-of-17 from the field. After his poor performances, the Brooklyn Nets are 3-0 down and unless Durant does something about it, the Nets may finish their season tonight. Durant is still one of the best scorers in the game who can make shots from everywhere on the court and also drive in to finish at the rim. The Celtics are playing a great defense on his but with his back against the wall, KD will go out tonight and drop at least over 28.5 points.
