Belmont Expert Picks for the event

Given that the Belmont lineup for Saturday’s race is all but confirmed, we are in the perfect position to put together a few Belmont predictions. Of course, we have created these Belmont picks while taking the relative odds into account. And that’s because not all of the possible winners and markets show true value. With that said, we have come up with two Belmont expert picks that you can lock in at TVG right now:

Rich Strike to win: +400 odds

As we are sure many of you will recall, Rich Strike upset the odds and won the Kentucky Derby just a few weeks ago. The Kentucky Derby is the first leg of the Triple Crown, and in all honesty, nobody was expecting this horse to take the win back then. However, facts are facts, and Rich Strike ran a fantastic race to take home the win down in Kentucky. This horse then missed the Preakness Stakes in order to rest, but he is back in business for the Belmont Stakes.

Each way – Mo Donegal: +225 odds

Mo Donegal is the favorite to take the win on Saturday, but we believe he could well be beaten by Rich Strike. Naturally, none of this is a guarantee, but we think that an each-way wager is a better play for this one. Mo Donegal could take the win, sure. But he was beaten by Rich Strike quite comfortably in the Kentucky Derby. So our Belmont prediction for this horse is that he could finish inside the top three, or at least this is very probable!

Then again, if he does win the event, this wager would still result in a payout!
