How To Watch Or Live Stream Atlanta Hawks vs. Miami Heat Game 1

TNT

Of the four NBA playoff games on this Sunday, TNT will handle three of the live TV broadcasts, including this one to start the day. Your Easter dinner can wait until the game is over, and do not forget to listen to what Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley say during TNT’s highly entertaining halftime show.

NBA League Pass

Die-hard basketball fans without cable likely have a subscription to NBA League Pass where you can watch any game live or on replay through a wide variety of different devices. It’s a little late in the season to subscribe when all the NBA playoffs will be nationally televised, but you can get a subscription at its lowest offered price of $14.99 per month.

Hulu + Live TV

For serious cord cutters, Hulu + Live TV offers a ton of original programming, live sports on TNT/ESPN/ABC, and subscriptions to Disney+ and ESPN+. The cost is $69.99 per month, but there is no shortage of content to consume with this service.

Sling TV

Sling TV has been one of the most cost-effective streaming plans for cord cutters who want to watch sports. The Orange plan offers the relevant networks that broadcast NBA games (TNT, ESPN, ABC), and you can currently get $10 off your first month.

FuboTV

Customers in the United States, Canada, and Spain could always use FuboTV, a streaming service that focuses on the channels that provide live sports. The Pro subscription starts at $69.99 per month, but there is a free trial option available now.

Is Miami a Legit No. 1 Seed?

There will be a lot of pressure on the Heat as the top seed after a season that saw much more hype go to the talented Nets, the defending champion Bucks, the surging Celtics, and the super pairing of Joel Embiid and James Harden on the 76ers.

But it was Miami that finished No. 1 in the Eastern Conference in the regular season. Atlanta only finished No. 9, but a strong finish and two wins in the play-in tournament has Trae Young’s team back in the playoffs for the second year in a row.

The Heat were swept by the Bucks a year ago, casting some doubt on the success the team had in the bubble a year earlier, including a series win over Milwaukee when Giannis Antetokounmpo was injured. But the Heat have a very solid roster, led by Jimmy Butler, and they are 3-1 this season against the Hawks, who may be missing center Clint Capela after he injured his knee on Friday night.

But Young’s ability to score in bunches can make for an exciting series to watch. Atlanta is also a much better home team than road team, so this series has the potential to go six or seven games. Here are our predictions for Game 1.
