Fortnite Chapter 3 Patch v19.01: Winterfest 2021, Super Styles & Weapon Balance Changes

ESTNN breaks down the latest patch in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1: Flipped.

Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1 emerged less than two weeks ago to a mostly positive community reception. Epic Games brought entirely new weapons, locations and mechanics to the table, giving the Battle Royale title a much-needed boost.

Just nine days into the season, Epic has already prepared an update. Patch v19.01 is now live in-game for players to experience. While nothing game-changing surfaced, the developers have begun laying the foundation for Fortnite’s annual winter-themed event. Additionally, the Battle Pass Super Level Styles are now available to unlock.

Without any further adieu, let’s see what Epic has to offer in Fortnite’s first patch or Chapter 3 Season 1.

Winterfest Coming Soon

The seasonal event previously known as 14 Days of Fortnite (2018), Winterfest (2019) and Operation Snowdown (2020) will return soon. While Epic has not solidified a start date, leakers on Twitter have set their sights on Thursday, December 16 followed by a January 6 end date. Some information we’ve gathered thus far includes the present-filled cabin’s return from the 2019 Winterfest and two free cosmetic skins — Winter Peely and Blizzabelle.

Stay tuned for more regarding the upcoming Winterfest in the coming days.

Now we arrive at the highlight of Season 1’s first patch. Everyone’s favorite Super Level Styles have been unlocked for all Battle Pass owners. That means all skin styles beyond level 100 are accessible. The three variants this season apply to all characters, and those are Photo Negative, Scarlet Blackout, and Gilded Reality.
