EA announced that they have donated $1 Million to support the victims of the tragic events in Jacksonville this past Sunday. NFL stars such as Mike Evans of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have stepped up and are going to be doing live Madden streams to support the fund. As per the press release, there will also be a live stream event supporting the families on Thursday, September 6th.

“The events last weekend in Jacksonville will impact the gaming community forever,” Electronic Arts said in a statement. “We can’t begin to understand the pain so many are going through, nor do we pretend to have all the answers that will help us through the healing process.”

As always the gaming community is coming together and doing their best to do what they can during these very hard times. The official press release can be seen below.
