Dragon's Dogma 2 gives you the option to choose between four different vocations at the start of your adventure, but that doesn't mean they're all the ones you'll have access to over the course of the game. In fact, as you continue with your adventure, you will be able to unlock new Dragon's Dogma 2 vocations. In this article, therefore, we will explain how to unlock the other six vocations that are available in the game.
How to Unlock Dragon's Dogma 2 Vocations
We said that as soon as you start the game, you will have the possibility to choose between four different vocations, namely: Mage, Fighter, Thief, and Archer. But as the story continues, you will be able to unlock six other vocations that you can use during your adventure, two advanced and four hybrid. Let's see together what steps need to be taken to unlock each of these six vocations in Dragon's Dogma 2.
Sorcerer and Warrior
To unlock these two Dragon's Dogma 2 vocations, all you have to do is continue with the story and get to the “Vocation Frustration” quest. To start this mission, you simply need to talk to the Vocations Guild master located in Vermorth, who will ask you to return to Harvest Village. By completing this request, you will be able to unlock these two new Dragon's Dogma 2 vocations.
Trickster
This vocation is also not difficult to unlock, since it will be unlocked automatically by continuing in the main story. In this case, to unlock this vocation, you will have to complete the mission “A New Godsway,” during which you will have to talk to the Oracle Luz.
Mythic Spearhand
There are two ways to unlock this vocation in Dragon's Dogma 2. The first is to take part in the mission “A New Godsway” and talk to Sigurd in order to be able to kill two birds with one stone, since this mission also allows you to unlock the Trickster vocation. The second way is to meet Sigurd at Harve Village (a place where you will necessarily have to go to continue the story and to unlock both the Sorcerer and the Warrior vocations).
Magic Archer
After completing the quest “A New Godsway,” you will have the opportunity to speak with Clidhna on the Volcanic Isle. Do it and help her husband to unlock this Dragon's Dogma 2 vocation.
Warfarer
This is perhaps the most difficult vocation to unlock in Dragon's Dogma 2. You will have to meet Lamond at the Hotspring on the Vulcanin Isle and you will have to give him enough Newt Liqueur. To find this resource, you will either have to find it in the game world (which takes a little longer to do) or you can buy it in a shop in Bakattahl. However, to be able to buy this resource, you will have to be a Bastren or wear a mask to avoid being recognized. Finally, you will need to bring a sandbag to the fenced-off area.
